WiFi Access Points
WiFi Access points are used to create a wireless network environment that allows you to roam from room to room without experiencing network interruptions. They must be hardwired by running an Ethernet cable to your router which then transmits a signal to the access point. As devices move through the building, they seamlessly transfer from one access point to another without dropping connection. This is critical when there are a large number of devices including iphones, laptops, fax machines, and printers that must function at all times. It is therefore important that Access points be installed in the proper locations and installed correctly to receive the best WiFi signal. Our trained techs will do a full walkthrough, determine the best locations, and then provide a free quote. We use high quality Ubiquiti products to ensure a professional installation.
Nanobeams
With Internet costs going up, there is increased interest in Nanobeams. These transmitters extend the Internet from one building to another, by “beaming” it across. By connecting one nanobeam to the existing Internet router, the Internet is sent to another nanobeam located at a second building where it is captured and then sent by cable to various parts of the building. This eliminates the need to purchase Internet services for the second building, thereby saving the business money. We have installed Nanobeams at many churches and businesses where the Internet modem resides in one building and the second building has none. Technicians determine the two best outside locations to install the nanobeams such that they face each other with no interference, mount them and connect them to the Internet modem. The Internet speed is not affected at all and the second building now has Internet.
